CWD found in deer semen

Interesting. It would seem logical that it possibly could be passed along through sexual contact.

I'm really beginning to think (dangerous) that for as long as CWD has been around and there are still whitetail deer in affected areas that maybe the deer themselves are the answer. Quite possibly over time they may genetically develop their own immunity to it?????

I don't disagree. I would bet that if studied more it would be found that there is something that makes some deer more susceptible than others genetically. Maybe to the extreme that some may even be immune in the other end of the spectrum.

Think, a mature buck with CWD goes around breeding every doe he can and it wouldn't take but a couple rut cycles for many deer to be infected.

First I've seen of this article, but this doesn't surprise me at all. I am surprised CWD research has been ongoing for 50+ years and this is the first research/results/conclusions of this kind.

Well yea, it is passed through their bodily fluids, that is one of there bodily fluids.
