i have a cva kodiak and am having trouble getting it sighted in. it touches bullet holes at 30yds with 100 grains of triple seven pellets and tc shock wave or any other bullet at that range. But at 80yds its all over the place ive herd they really like 150grains of triple seven but am wondering if any body has one and what their guns preffered load is.Thanks for any info

I have one, taken 2 bucks with it this year since season has opend.Mine really likes 100grs (2 777 pellets) and a hornady FPB bullet, at 100yds I can put them all with in a 1.5in groups...At 50yds almost 1 hole.I'd definatly recomend the Hornady FPB for the kodiak..Mine loves them.

Check scope rings and bases. Try to drop down in powder. The great thing about the Kodiak is its 28" barrel.

thanks for the info.are the fpbs hard to load in the kodiak
Nope, loads easy as can be..Mine even shoots them the same with a clean barrel as they do a dirty barrel..But like UT said, check your scope rings and bases and make sure all is tight..

I have one also, and I use 90 gr Pyrodex loose powder, and cheap Knight 260gr saboted conicals. I can touch bullet holes at 50yds with it, open sights. ;) When I shot PB's out of it, I couldn't hit a pie plate consistently at 50.
