gonna save yall some trouble here. usually i stick with weaver or go high end with egw rails and rings but i didn't this time, thought i would try somethin different.
I just got a cva wolf and am mounting a bushnell 3200 3-9x40 on it. since cva pushes the durasight (both companies are owned by bpi products) brand bases and rings i thought surely they would work good... HA.
I got the DS102B 1 piece rail base which when mounted is a hair to long. when you close the gun the rail hits the action and prys the rail up off the barrel a bit in the rear. It also rubbed the breech plug when you screw the plug out. Fixed all this with a little filing.
Now on to the qd rings DS300B. The top screw holes in both rings were bugered up or maybe it was the coating they put on them. The screws wouldn't start and i had to retap both of them.
I shot an email to durasight yesterday but of course they aren't getting back with me.
Lesson learned stick with better known rings and bases.
okay i feel better thanks listening to my rant.
