I have heard there are some good Catfish out there, been out there a few times with no luck. If ya know of a good spot it me up would love to learn the area, I got a boat and all the gear.

Havnt seen any monsters come out of there but have seen a few 8lb's. Ive got a buddy who was supposed to take me out catfishing but he keeps volunteering to go overseas (contractor). He was hooking up on them pretty regularly.

As for the Steamplant, I will be headin out that way as soon as the huntin season is over. Will have to hook up with ya.

Check with the Busy Bee market right by the steam plant. They have a picture board with plenty of pics of large and huge cats. I,m sure they can help you out with info.

That place is full of giants..Only been twice and caught 30lb blue and 20lb flatty...saw some huge cats and rockfish drug out of there

this area @ one point in time was concidered to be the top fishery for monster blues in the country biggest i ever caught was 30lbs. about 15yrs ago there was one that was snaged below the steam plant that was suposidaly over 126lbs

Is Joe Hall still guiding for catfish up there? That guy knows more about catching trophy cats on the Cumberland than anybody else I know.

The crews have been in on a daily basis checking the water in the drywall and doing estimates. Think I may be able to make it out Sat and Sun. Upstairs bathroom floors are ripped up and the kitchen ceiling is down with fans running all over the place. There's enough fans in here I think I could fly the house.
