Crossbow string replacement

My crossbow is 7-8 years old, string seems to be in good shape. I think I'm going to replace string after season to be on the safe side, anybody had one replaced recently and have a ballpark price of what it will cost? Thanks in advance

What brand is it? If it is 7 or 8 years old I would replace sooner rather than later. There is a lot of pressure in those strings and cables. You should probably replace cables at the same time you do your string. Depending on the type of bow I would look at between $100 and $150 for string and cable replacement

I just priced having my tenpoint strings replaced, and it was right at $125

You tube your crossbow and see if you can do it easily yourself.

It's a tenpoint

Mine is a Tenpoint also and it was right at 140.00 for strings and cables and 20.00 for labor.
