Crossbow on down slope shot

I shot last night at a ground hog that was in my garden on a slight down hill slope. Normally my bow shoots about dead on at the 25yrds I was shooting from, but this time, it shot low. Anyone got any suggestions? I shot it again at my target with field tips and broadheads and it was dead on.

I imagine you dropped your arm just as you shot. Normally shooting on a downslope, you tend to hit high.
