Buddy shot this hen pintail next to me Saturday. 4000 miles or more this fall. Now you can imagine all these pintails could have migrated from Alaska or anywhere…? Insanity

Very cool.
They've found some go all the way to Russia, then migrate back to the US. Then they don't show up on pond surveys in the Dakotas, and we undercount the pintails.
