Still works in progress but have finally started to frame my collection. May be switching some out according to type but it's a start. Lots more to go

Awesome collection !
Any personal finds by chance ?
If you get time I sure would like to see both sides of that bottom left piece in the left hand pic , maybe outside/daylight pics please. It looks very similar to a quad, and the material is intriguing.
Thanks

I've never bought or sold any artifacts, don't think I ever will. And I sure will take a better pic when I get home tonight. I believe the ear broke and they fixed it because there's not a break that I can see.

Sure looks like a heartbreaker Quad. That hinge fracture in the center of the second picture tells me that grey part is some pretty high grade material. I hope someone on here with experience will notice this post and possibly give their thoughts, maybe St. Louis chert idk ???
Thats a sweet piece, excellent personal find. I cant tell 100% but the damage looks original and not modern, can you tell for sure, or is that what you meant in post #3 ?
Thanks for the pictures.

Ya it looks to me like they broke it and repaired it. There's not a clean break and there edge working where that ear would've been

Whats the secret to framing them and being able to hang them on a wall without the arrowheads following to the bottom of the frame?
Typically they stay in place pretty good with wood frame cases. The artifacts are pressed against the inside foam insert(s), from the force of the glass as you close it. Depending on the thickness of the artifacts, foam, and depth of the frame, sometimes adjustments have to be made.
