Took a few days off but I couldn't stay away too long. I just want to fill my last tag being my first season. Got an eye on 4 Toms strutting around in this field on backside of the property I hunt. I can hunt the woods a mile around it but not field. I was too excited and at 230 I got tired of looking at the clock. Grab my crap and left. Been sitting in the woods 2hrs before daylight and I don't think I've ever been in here this soon for any hunting. If you haven't do it once. It's so peaceful. I've had 3 different pairs of deer walk by in field edge and they don't have a clue I'm even in the world I just rehydrated and I'm just waiting to hear one and I'm off.
