cordell hull Sauger

Watching tn wildside they just had an feature on Cordell Hull and Sauger fishing below the dam. Anyone have any info on what is happening now? I'm laid off this week and thought I might go give it a try but not really sure of the area. Any help would be appreciated.

The other day fishing was tough at the dam, they were generating solid and didn't see many sauger being caught by others. The crappie and white bass were hitting minnows in 12-14ft water.
