Copper plated shot.

I am going to the range and I am looking to pattern my 535. Problem is, I can't find and long beards to try out. I was at a pawn shop and found a few boxes of copper plated Winchester. Does anyone know anything about this stuff? Is it good and can I use my .670 choke with it?

i have had good luck out of the winchester super x and the double x was ok but not as good as the super x. but the longbeards is 10x better than either.

My guess is there will likely be more LBs available as the season approaches but you might have to look online if you want them earlier. The manufacturers seem to treat turkey loads as seasonal so they are sometimes hard to get. And yes, you can run'em through a .670 just fine.

I shoot copper plated Winchester thru a .670 works just fine
