Really neat picture! Boy they go out of their way to protect that headgear until they're out of velvet don't they. After that it's head to head battle. I've seen and heard several. They don't play around then.

I known of them getting into some pretty serious fights in the early season. The buck I killed two years ago had a G3 broken off at the main beam and cuts on his neck and face. That was Sept. 13.

Very cool! I have one of a doe on he hind legs like that to run another doe away from a salt lick but two bucks like that is awesome.
