Are TN concealed carry permit holders allowed to carry concealed on a WMA during bow hunting season? If concealed carry is not permitted, can we open carry during bow hunting season?

Are concealed carry permits dependent on WMA such as Percy Priest WMA has one rule vs Cheatham WMA a different rule?

Are the concealed carry rules different in bow vs ML vs rifle season?

Thanks,
Vince.

TN does not have a concealed carry permit. The Handgun Carry permit allows you to carry both concealed and open.

If you have a valid carry permit, you are allowed to be in possession of a carry weapon while hunting. Unless it is a legal weapon for the season you are hunting in, it may not be used for ANY hunting purposes, including finishing off a wounded animal.

With a valid carry permit, you are legal to carry on most WMAs. However, certain WMAS under federal jurisdiction, such as AEDC, do not allow those carry weapons. You should contact the federal agency overseeing such WMAS to get their ruling on having a carry weapon on their lands.
