Forecast looks really good for deer to be moving. Who's going to take advantage of this hard cold front?

I wrestled with this, but decided to take today, tues and wed off to take advantage. I've got a nice buck narrowed down on public. And I feel if I wait till the muzzleloader opener, he'll be long gone or dead.

Yeah will try to capitalize today through Thursday. Hopefully this weather gets something big moving on some public I plan to hit.

My trails cams were going off last night several bucks up and moving. Been in the tree since 6 haven't seen a thing this mornin.

The best buck I have tabs on hit a scrape I have a cam on in the last 5 min of daylight last night and then again this morning about 9 am. ill be hunting out there this afternoon for sure!

IMO this is the best week of archery only season. Sure opening weekend in September is nice, but this week is the best weather for deer hunting.

Wind has been shifting some here, but the rain looks to be almost done. Hoping the wind will let up tomorrow morning, I will probably go. Cwd unit, so will be rifle. If the current forecast holds, Thursday and Friday mornings will be the best wind for my most productive stands, I will definitely be going those mornings.

The orange crew comes out this weekend so I'm gone try to be out there Tuesday-Thursday evenings. Only had 1 buck to work my nerves last week so far (didn't like the shot) I was hoping my son would get him Saturday but no luck. Feel like my opportunity is coming soon tho.

I work third shift (sun-thurs) so I'm going Wednesday Thursday and Friday right after work! I have to stay late tomorrow I know but I'll be home at a decent time to keep an eye out in the back yard plot! Definitely going to be out Friday evening and Saturday morning and afternoon

Got a video the night of the 27th of my best buck scent trailing a doe through a food plot. Now this doesn't guarantee she was in estrus, but that buck was definitely after one particular deer.

I am sitting at the middle school to pick up my son, and I just get a notification on my cell cam, a big bodied wide 8(possibly 4.5 year old) just walked past my camera on a scrapeline about 175 yards from where I took my son yesterday afternoon. He was the third buck on that scrapeline in the past 20 minutes. They are moving midday in this overcast drizzle. I will definitely be out tomorrow morning.

Had an encounter with a 140" 10pt this evening. Fun sit. Rained until 5:30. My new Kuiu performed well I'm dry as a bone.

Not me… I have a job. I did see a stud standing on the side of I40 with a doe bedded beside him this morning and also a buck chasing a doe in a field off 385 today.

I am taking off tomorrow to be in the woods all day. I have a big 8 on public I have seen twice now that I am targeting. Hoping to get a shot on the 8 but if a doe walks in alone, I need the meat!

Watched a couple different chases this morning, younger bucks, likely 2.5 year olds. Had deer moving in the woods around me in all directions except directly behind me. Best buck I saw this morning was a solid 7. He had a good body size and he was about 15-20 yards behind a doe, both were just walking. Saw several antlerless. Last doe and fawn I saw went by a little before 10.

I had a newborn calf I needed to check on this morning, so I got down about 10. My cell cam, up in the hills not too terribly far away, had activity while I was walking back and again just a little while ago.

Same here. pretty much shut off right after 10. started moving around a full hour before sunset yesterday too. Great couple days to be in the woods.

Put in a buzzer beater PTO day for tomorrow. Handful of bucks chasing this morning, hopefully it carries into the morning! Got a couple good ones that I'd love to catch up with.

Same as me. I had a big 8 pop up within 20 yards and stared at my tent blind. He was down wind and wouldn't look away so I could get a shot. Was there for a good minute. Then off he went. Doh. Fun anyway.
