Clover frost seeding rates

When frost seeding ladino clover should you seed just a little heavier or just the regular rate. planning on doing this mid march

The recommended rate for frost seeding ladino is 2 pounds per acre. I would go with more, like say 4-5 pounds per acre but thats just me. Depends on how thick your current stand is.

what if its a newly made plot. will the clover do just as well?

I was going to do the same, frost seed clover at 4lbs per acre over my winter rye -

I am going to use ladino/red clover at a rate of 3 lbs per acre sometime in late March!

I would increase this if its a frost seed!!
3 lbs of white with 5 lbs of red per acre

What about Durano clover? This clover is more dense.

Do not disk the plot if you plan on frost seeding clover. Disking will only encourage more weeds during the spring/summer.
