Is it legal to hunt predators with rifle and shotgun (legal loads of course) during turkey and deer season on private property?

game warden told me you could only use that which was allowed during that particular season so no rifles during turkey season

Look at scn's response to Ruger in TWRA forum. You CAN hunt coyotes with center fire rifles during turkey season as long as you don't possess any turkey hunting paraphernalia.
