Claiborne county hunters

I am looking at a 450 acre lease around the thackett creek area. Anyone that hunts in that county have any info for me would be appreciated. I have a lease in Cambell cty now if you could choose between the two ctys which one would u choose. Thx

They're both about the same.Dont take this the wrong way but I don't understand the whole lease thing in tacket creek there's so much land in camp and claiborne that is open to the public with the same success rates as any leased areas locally
I could understand if it was west tn leases but the way I see it I have way more acres than I can ever cover in my lifetime for the simple cost of sportsman license. I know a lot of people on those leases where you're talking about and all they talk about is they can't keep so and so out. 450 acres of these mountains don't seem like much

There are some nice bucks in the Tackett Creek area, but the hunting is rough. Lots of steep ridges, and hog backs. One of the biggest problems will be keeping some of the local "good ole boys," who have hunted the area for most of their lives, off of your lease.
