Citadel 45 3.5 barrel

I know this is a cheap gun... No doubt about it. My dealer got one in the other day and I bought it without much thought. It's a good looking little 1911.

I took it to the range straight out the store and it failed to fire twice out of 60 rounds. Took it apart and cleaned it and headed back to the range. I fired a little over 100 shots without another problem.

15 yard groups of seven rounds were in the 3 inch range. Amazing for a short 3.5 inch barrel. 25 yard groups were in the 5 to 6 inch range with 230 ball in UMC ammo.

For a cheap shooter, I couldn't be happier.

I didn't keep the target... Should have.

I'll get some pics soon. Probably when the FN comes in later this week. I've bought 5 new guns in the last 2 weeks... Having to hide them from the wife right now. Squirrel money she didn't know about. LOL

i know how you feel my wife says all i care about is my guns i waited till she went to bed last night and then snuck out to go to a late night gun store/range, most men sneak around to cheat... i sneak out for guns! LOL
