Ok, so I sprayed and plowed a month ago, disked, and sprayed again before planting last Saturday my Chufa. It's in the ground with a few rains on it now!
Because what came up after spraying, I think I'm going to have a problem with broad leafs, including milkweed.
There is clover surrounding the plot, so I want to stay away from 2,4-D. The farmer next door sprays it and it floats several hundred yards to yellow my clover
Internet research on weed control in chufa is all over, so I'm looking for anecdotal success stories. I have had good success with 2,4-DB (butyrac) in my clover plots with broadleaf control. Had planned on using clethodim on grass control.
Worked real hard on this plot and looking forward to my PURE stand of chufa! Thanks in advance for advice!
