Great looking, big tomato. It must taste great to save the seed. We done...This is one tomato on the plate. I got the seed from a Tndeer member a couple of years ago. He didn't know the variety name, but his family had been growing and saving seed from them for years. In honor of the seed gift, I dubbed them Burchett's Yellow. Thanks to him again if he sees this.

FANTASTIC! Im glad they are working out for you! Be sure to save some seeds! I couldnt tell you how many generations of my family have been using that heirloom seed stock. Ive put more work in my tomatoes this year than I ever have and Ive got the worst garden Ive ever had. This is one tomato on the plate. I got the seed from a Tndeer member a couple of years ago. Love saving seeds! And your not alone, this year is the worst looking tomatoe plants we've ever had....plenty of tomatoes but the plants are dieing back and look horrible. Squash and zucchini has run its course, they are starting to look rough as well...may plant some more squash.FANTASTIC! Im glad they are working out for you! Be sure to save some seeds! I sliced up one of these and a huge German pink to have with supper tonight. I made sure my daughter got 2 big slices of the yellow and told her how many generations these seeds have been passed down in the family. I hope she keeps it going. This is one tomato on the plate. Very nice results. That yellow one is awesome. There're starting to come in pretty good, and I've got plenty of nice big tomatoes, all heirlooms. BLTs are definitely on the menu!

Thanks for heads up but we're not using any bagged soils in the garden...most of the soil in our raised beds is built from horse barn compost and garden compost...we do add little perlite and vermiculite....porch pots are bagged soil but its whatever is on sale blended with our compost. If you are using the miracle-gro soil amendment bags sold by Homedepot I think that product is full of some kind of fungus/virus/bacteria that causes the symptoms you describe. I have same problem Beans...tomatoes...peppers...squash....all are miserable in appearance and producing little or no fruits. Planted same in known good dirt and got my usual results...healthy green big producing plants. Just 2 months behind.
