Chili Question

Why is it that every $%#%&* time I make Chili burn my $%#%&* tongue?

Now I am going to have to wait 3 or 4 days before I can taste it well enough to see if its any good.

i have to admit, i do the very same thing. seems chili can hold heat better than any substance known to man or beast
