rifle is bone stock other than some trigger work,,it points and shoots much better in field positions than most guns I have shot,,when deer are close and moving I would rather have this rifle than any other I have used,,

that 8208 is some hot powder for 150 gr loads,,it shoots a little better on paper with Sierra 165 GKBTHP and RL15 but the point blank range is much less than the 150 SST and it shoots good enough,,

How do you like the 165 Sierra GKBTHP on game performance? I am thinking about trying them in my 300 SAUM.

they would work really well in that case,,the GKBTHP line is tougher than the BTSP and the way the nose is made you should be able to reach the lands and fit the mag well,,and they will rock a whitetails world,,
