Chargemaster

Recently acquired a chargemaster. I've done the straw trick and reprogrammed the speed. Overall I'm happy with it. But this thing is messy. Started out earlier and had forgot to close the drain tube. Luckily I caught it but not before I had a small mess. But dispensing is a mess as well. Any tips on that.

Mine doesn't spill a grain but I don't use a straw either.

I think I got the mess straightened out. I noticed the other night it was bunching up and on final trickle I was getting some over charges. I had seen the notches cut and figured I'd try it. That was my problem. Turned my straw around and ran another box thru. Not a kernel spilled.

I don't use a straw on mine. I always wait til after the charge number is displayed for the weight to be displayed again because sometimes it can be a tenth or two heave. I just take a pinch out, trickle what is needed back in and put the rest in the reservoir. I put red fingernail polish on the bottom of the reservoir drain so that if I leave it opened (turned), the red is showing. I really enjoy my chargemaster.

It's the pan and the funnel. The chargemaster discharges directly into the pan/funnel and you pick it up and dump it directly into the case. When loading multiple rounds you set the chargemaster to charge when the pan is replaced on the scale and it really picks up speed.

Also, the back half being enclosed to make the funnel helps eliminate any spillage like you saw with the straw
