Cerkote color to simulate bluing

Has anyone cerakoted a rifle or shotgun to simulate the color of a deep, rich bluing. I am looking at having one done in Socom Blue and was wondering if that is the best color?

Hmmmm...having never looked closely at a cerakoted rifle I cannot help at all. We will have a 6.8 SPC II in hand this week and cerakote is something my Son is talking up.

Their "midnight" color in the elite series is supposed to be the same as gun blue. I have used it on several customers guys. all have been happy.

If that's from the same category as the fde you did for me that's what I want my 8040 cougar done in

It is. It's their Elite series also..the toughest Cerakote there is.
