I read thru the latest hunting guide and didn't see anything. If I want to take a non hunting friend with me deer hunting just for filming purposes, are they required to buy a license? This would be on private property.

They are OK to film without a license as long as they do not assist in the hunt in ANY way. That includes calling, carrying equipment, etc.
They are allowed to assist in the retrieval of dead game after the kill is made.
