Do you have to have a reservation for camping in January or is it just walk in to pay for a campsite?

You have to have a reservation for all camping in the park, including back country sites now.

I'm pretty sure they will take your money if you just walk in. Ive been up there twice in the last month. Camping area is not full by a long shot.
