When it's 100* in the valley, you head for higher elevation. 75* with water temp of 60*. Fishing was marginal but several spectacular little bows were hungry. 25/30 fish is a pretty good day on a mountain stream this time of year.

That's awesome, but wow those are tiny fish. I'm not a mountain fisherman. Are these average size trout
For the most part yes, these are average size. It will vary from stream to stream but very few will get over 10". Used to, you could catch 10/12" inch trout fairly often but there was a major drought in 2016 that wiped out most of the wild population in the region, especially the Browns. Only the strong survived and the strong were the small ones that required less oxygen, less food and higher water temps. That resulted in genetics producing smaller fish. But no, they don't get very big.

You sure see some pretty country where you fish. Not sure I could get excited about those little trout, but to each their own. Those temps sound mighty inviting.
I do see some absolutely beautiful country and I leave out the best of it in any pics I post because someone, somewhere at some point might have been there and recognize it and post the location all over the web. Lots of places I can go to catch big trout and I actually pass several on my way to the wild streams but I would rather catch a 10" wild stream born fish vs a 20" pellet head that was chunked out of a truck into the stream (not saying I don't occasionally fish for those) but I absolutely understand. Lots of folks wouldn't get the enjoyment of catching small trout in small streams that are difficult to access and I'm thankful for that every time I go!🙂
