My Redheads have crashed so I'm looking at getting a pair of binoculars and it has come down between these two. I looked through Nikon, Leupold, Vortex, and Busnell. It came down to the Vortex diamondback 10x42 and the Bushnell legend HD 10x42. I think the bushnell is a little brighter and has more detail but the warranty on the vortex is unbeatable is what ive been told. What do you guys think?

between those 2 i like the Vortex better due to warranty but its a personal opinion. I have a pair of Leupold Acadias that I really like if those are in your range you should check them out.

I just got the Vortex Crossfire II scope and I love it. The eye box on it is a little iffy, but the eye relief is amazing (>4"). I also have the Vortex Diamondback bino's and they are great.

The warranty is hard to beat. It's transferable too. So if you pass it on to your family or whatever - they can always get it fixed if it breaks.

Every Bushnell product I have ever owned (2 range finders, the 300$ version, and 3 scopes)were broken out of the box, or broke shortly afterward. I will never have another Bushnell product. Vortex is good stuff, and they stand behind it.
