My brother (on the left, cousin on right) wrapped up his TN buck season this afternoon after arrowing this 9 at around 30 yards. You can't see it well in the picture but he has a split G2 on the right side. He killed this deer in the same food plot as the 8 point he killed in early October, within a couple of steps of the exact same spot as a matter of fact. This deer was actually in the plot when he shot the 8 but never presented a shot. We had been getting sporadic pictures of him at night since then, but nothing consistent. He finally showed up in the daylight again on the Sunday evening of juvenile. This was only the second decent weather day with a huntable wind we have had since that day, and he didn't show up on the first. He was just feeding by himself this evening. His hocks were pretty dark already but we are still roughly two weeks away from the start of our rut. Deer weighed 220 live weight which is pretty big for our area. We are guessing him at 5.5 but we are far from aging experts. Heck of a season for him.

Proof again we CAN kill big deer over bait. Hope to see one like that in my plot on Saturday! Great looking deer, and a great season for your brother.
