What style broadhead does everyone use? I've been shooting the standard Magnus 2 blade in 125 grain for years. I'm thinking I'll try forge some heads myself and am thinking about making them single bevel. Any of you shoot single bevel heads and what's your opinion on them?

I shoot single bevel Grizzly heads in 200gr. Complete pass through on the deer I shot last season with them. Also an extremely durable head. I was shooting at on old cow skull just for haha's to see how they would hold up. The skull destroyed a 200gr 3 blade Snuffer. The Grizzly almost passed completely through with no damage...quick touch up and it was razor sharp again. Kind of a P.I.T.A. to get sharp outa the pack. But once you get them there they hold up well.

I'm gonna make some heads and thought about trying the single bevel since I can make them however I want. I'm gonna try to forge a solid ferrule that'll slide inside the shaft. I think hitting the correct weight will be my biggest issue. That's the plan anyway.

I've been shooting snuffers for about 20-25 years. as long as I've done my part (shot placement), they've done their part.
my first 2 deer I shot with a longbow, I used G5 Montec, 125gr. I wasn't happy with arrow flight in my carbons and after experimenting I found I should have been using 175gr heads. 145 gr snuffer with the long adapter gives me a head between 175 and 180 grs.

I've been tempted to try some single bevels but just haven't come off my hip pocket and bought any.
