Broadcasting Eagle Beans

Has anyone had any luck broadcasting Eagle beans and then using a drag to cover them? I don't have a tractor and didn't know if it was advisable to try this or just rent a tractor and planter or drill.

I have done it. They did just fine. The trick is to hit them with roundup early or the weeds will drown them.
