I need someone to talk to with experience reforming a piece of brass from one cartridge to a different cartridge. I've done it with the 308 based cartridges, but I feel this is different. I'm wanting to reform a straight-walled cartridge to a bottleneck style. Hope I said that right.. šŸ˜‚
If anyone has experience with that...I would love to speak with you.

Thanks

Is there an alternative? You are trying to go from what to what?
Not really...and I like a challenge.
Trying to make 225 win brass. Some say 30-30 brass can be used. Others say it's too thin for 225 pressure. The do say 375 will work and will handle the pressure. So...going from 375 diam straight wall (slight taper) down to 224 diam bottleneck.

First of all lube really good, both outside and in side neck. And go slow. You may need to ream the inside neck too. All of that brass has to go somewhere, and can get thick at the neck.
