I've always been pretty impressed with their burger. Not fancy but really dang good. I think the only other place in Murfreesboro I've gone to specifically for the burger would be Buster's.
There's not much more satisfying than a good greasy homemade smash burgerStopped by Lanes Trains and Automobiles in Murfreesboro before they shut down for good in a couple of weeks. This double bacon smash burger was amazing! It might be top 3 burger for me, I was suprised. View attachment 316885
I lived off bowling alley food at Warpath Lanes back in late 70s and the early to mid 80s.. I started working there when I was 13 and most of my pay went towards food and practice time..
Good times back then..

if youre ever around new johnsonville sky way lanes is pretty good.
Dont expect much. About half my students work thereNew owners bought the building and they don't care about bowling would be my guess. They have other plans for the space was what the statement said.
We went to Main Event bowling alley yesterday in the Boro. More string pins. Food was decent but nowhere near as good as L.T.A. One bowling alley left in Rutherford county then I'll be taking my lack of talent to Shelbyville and seeing what their lanes/food is like.
yeah i thought you were a little closer. anyway mr craig immigrated here from chicago and brought his family's pizza recipe with him. its a thin crust, almost cracker, style pizza. the sauce and spices they use ive never been able to figure the recipe.Appreciate the tip! A little over 2 hrs away but still doable. Just googled them and the food looks pretty good lol. Burgers not so much, but looks like the wings, pizza, pasta, and desserts could make up for it lol.
Might have to pull a DA and check off every bowling alley in every county!
There is nothing like an old diner, with the danged greasiest cheeseburger around! The most flavorful food you'll ever get outside of home.Stopped by Lanes Trains and Automobiles in Murfreesboro before they shut down for good in a couple of weeks.
