Stopped by Lanes Trains and Automobiles in Murfreesboro before they shut down for good in a couple of weeks. This double bacon smash burger was amazing! It might be top 3 burger for me, I was suprised.

I've always been pretty impressed with their burger. Not fancy but really dang good. I think the only other place in Murfreesboro I've gone to specifically for the burger would be Buster's.

This was a nice treat. I had to stop halfway through and just appreciate what was happening lol. I hated their oily lanes and string bowling pins but the burger was worth every penny.

There's not much more satisfying than a good greasy homemade smash burger

Why did they close up? Looks like a great burger!

New owners bought the building and they don't care about bowling would be my guess. They have other plans for the space was what the statement said.

We went to Main Event bowling alley yesterday in the Boro. More string pins. Food was decent but nowhere near as good as L.T.A. One bowling alley left in Rutherford county then I'll be taking my lack of talent to Shelbyville and seeing what their lanes/food is like.

if youre ever around new johnsonville sky way lanes is pretty good.

Appreciate the tip! A little over 2 hrs away but still doable. Just googled them and the food looks pretty good lol. Burgers not so much, but looks like the wings, pizza, pasta, and desserts could make up for it lol.

Might have to pull a DA and check off every bowling alley in every county!

Dont expect much. About half my students work there

yeah i thought you were a little closer. anyway mr craig immigrated here from chicago and brought his family's pizza recipe with him. its a thin crust, almost cracker, style pizza. the sauce and spices they use ive never been able to figure the recipe.

There is nothing like an old diner, with the danged greasiest cheeseburger around! The most flavorful food you'll ever get outside of home.😍

Used to love their pizza. Would go to Camden most Sunday nights after church and get a pizza.

Not a Sonic fan, but I will say their double smashburgers grease up pretty well. 👍

I lived off bowling alley food at Warpath Lanes back in late 70s and the early to mid 80s.. I started working there when I was 13 and most of my pay went towards food and practice time..
Good times back then..
Steve Martin! I bowled there many times.

Well, it's been busy lately so when we do bowl we just go to a local alley, but after burning alive outside the last 2 days we slipped off today and hit Tenn Pin Alley in Columbia! Nice spot although I wasn't a huge fan of the staff.

I got the strike burger which was good, maybe a tad overcooked but I wasn't mad at it. The fries were really good! The wife had 3 soft shell chicken tacos with pico, which she liked (forgot to snap a pic), and we also split 6 wings just to try them. Not good lol. I had 2, the wife had 1, we pitched the rest. The last spot from this post was better food wise but we will still go back and I wouldn't be afraid to order the same thing again minus the wings. No string pins either which is a huge bonus!

We just got in from Spare Time in Chattanooga. No string pins always gets a bonus point. Menu had a good selection. I got the smokehouse burger. Fresh hand patted patty on a toasted Hawaiian bun. BBQ sauce, bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato red onion, and fried pickles. 1 of the 2 big tomatoes had to come off. The burger was good, but it had so much going on it was starting to fall apart halfway through. Food was good, and the Corleone's Lounge looked cool. It wasn't open when we first got there, and when it did open we were ready to bounce. Food was worth another trip back, but wasn't my kind of crowd there so doubt we return.
