In the process of putting on a new cable and string and trying to tune the bow up it was discovered I had a cracked limb. It'll take any where from 4 days to 3 weeks to get my new parts. I'll have to do a rush job on getting ready to hunt by opener. Glad it's kind of like riding a bike.

Good excuse to go for the crossbow Mike.

Not knocking the crossbow enthusiasts, but I'm still able to draw and shoot my compound. The ability to do so while in the presence of your target is what I deem to be the difference between bow hunting and crossbow hunting and I like that challenge.

They had my limbs in stock and I should have them by the 31 or sooner. Good> I don't have to wait 3 more weeks to get my bow right.
