my area (Haywood county)is full of corn and some beans...too much food to pin deer down....should be good for the overall herd health, though. When there is so much food like this, I stick to travel areas. I try to catch deer moving from one area to the next and not at specific food sources...
Thursday, I saw farmers spraying cut corn fields. Must mean they are killing the crop, then will disk it under and plant wheat, maybe....I saw some guys spraying cotton, so I guess they'll be picking it soon as well....
