Boliver, TN area Corn crop?

Anyone know if the corn has been, or is being harvested now? It appears to be a banner yield this year...

I heard the yield was quite impressive compared to the past few years. This should bold well for a food source.

Question, When do the farmers usually plow the corn under?

my area (Haywood county)is full of corn and some beans...too much food to pin deer down....should be good for the overall herd health, though. When there is so much food like this, I stick to travel areas. I try to catch deer moving from one area to the next and not at specific food sources...

Thursday, I saw farmers spraying cut corn fields. Must mean they are killing the crop, then will disk it under and plant wheat, maybe....I saw some guys spraying cotton, so I guess they'll be picking it soon as well....
