I'm admitting my ignorance and asking for advice on which ramps you'd recommend to access the river in the Decatur/Perry County area. When I was younger I'd fish the area near Perryville Marina with my grandfather, but we stopped going when his health failed and I haven't been on the river in probably 20 years. I feel the need to go back and put his boat back in the water a time or two.

He kept his boat at Perryville Marina and I think they have a ramp. I know there's a ramp at Mousetail Landing and, I believe, Beech Bend by the pump station. I can find lists of the ramps online fairly easily, but I also know in that area some ramps are best avoided. Any guidance would be helpful.

Check out the Mousetail Landing boat ramp now that it has been updated. I drove by there yesterday (2/17/24) and the parking area has been paved and there is now parking for probably 30 or more trucks/trailers. The upgrades are not even showing up on google maps yet.
