Batter = 1 cup flour, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup milk.
Fruit = 2 cup blackberry ¼ cup sugar.
Half a stick butter on bottom of dish.
Pour batter in dish. Lightly mash/mix ¼ cup sugar over blackberrys then spread evenly over batter. Cut the other half stick of butter and spread on top then sprinkle lightly with sugar. 375F for 45 minutes....eat hot out of oven topped with vanilla ice cream.

Looks great.. At this rate I won't have enough black berries for a cobbler until 2025
 
Picked a big handful a few minutes ago, would have had a 1/2 bowl full if they would have had any size, damdog was getting the low hanging ones, good thing he is a smaller beagle as he picked faster than me 🤣
 
I've picked about 10 qts so far. The recent rain (two days ago) really brought them on. Better get them while you can.

Wife picking this evening while I bush hog....this should be interesting... 😂

Our blackberries have done so well this year, my wife has already made 4 cobblers in the last month lol She makes them very similar to this and with a scoop of vanilla ice cream ain't nuthn better!!!
