Food Plots Birth of a food plot

Been trying to take pics of a few areas we opened up and planted this year.

Both areas were cleared in February and then planted early March in a mix of oats and clover (Patriot and Crimson). Plan was to replant in fall but things have grown so well I'm taking a wait and see approach at this point.

I did not amend the soil in any way but need to. We had some large burn piles in these plots and the growth in those areas far surpassed the remainder.

Planning to get soil tests done in the next few weeks and go from there.
