Big old Wisconsin Deer

Old friend of mine got the second one during bow season then took out a young boy for the juvi gun hunt up in Central Wisconsin. The boy took a deer they call "Split Ear". They think they have been watching that same deer for 12 years! Amazing and huge bodied deer. BTW the guy in the pic is about 6'3" and 260 pounds...

If they think they've been watching that deer for 12 years i hope they pulled the jaw bone to have it aged. Would love to hear how old it was!

They did take the jaw bone, and sent it into the DNR to get a correct age on the buck. If I find out I will post the actual age on here

Waushara County. Some towns around that area are Wautoma, Wild Rose, Redgranite.... about 40 miles west of Oshkosh. I used to live in that area and it is the same place the state record typical buck came from just a few years ago. Lived there from the time I was 7 to 18 on my uncles farm.... lots of deer. They are like roaches in that county.
