No idea how I missed seeing this thread when posted, but
Belated CONGRATULATIONS!
Great pics you took!
Speaking about Mainframe 10-pointers in TN,
they are relatively rare, especially on mature bucks in typical "hunted" areas.
Most with the genetics for mainframe 10 are killed when they're 2 1/2 or 3 1/2,
making it even less likely you'll see a mature one having 10 or more mainframe tines.
I believe I was over 30 before I killed a true mainframe 10,
but had killed several mature mainframe 8's & 9's before then.
Most TN bucks have the genetic propensity to become only mainframe 8's & 9's,
no matter how old they live. Most points beyond 9 on most TN mature bucks will be "stickers" or non-typical points.

Awesome buck Larry!!!
Congratulations!
I'm 24 years in without a 10 point myself.
Much like you said it just doesn't seem meant to be ha.

It took me 26 for a mainframe so you've still got hope.
I killed a 12 in '13 that was a main 9 with 3 stickers and a 10 in both '14 and '15 that were mainframe 8s with kickers, but this is the first official main 10 that I thought would never happen.
