Congratulations and incredible! I gotta admit, I was like, who carries an extra ram rod with them - ha ha (even if it does break down)?? Sounds like it's a good thing you do!

Congrats on a beautiful buck! I've been at this a long time and I still can't break 9 points. I have a pretty good mainframe 10 on camera and if I see him in person I may get my first this year.

I have two main frame 10 pts and several 8 pts but I'm wanting a nice Dark rack like that to mount. Congrats on a fine buck!

Honestly, that's not why I carry the extra one. I shoot 45/70 smokeless conversion that doesn't hold a ram rod on the gun. I carry a collapsible ram rod that goes in a pouch on my belt. I carry the extra which is in a small pouch and screws together in pieces in case I forget my other ram rod. I did do that once this year. I was glad to have it and would like to have seen me keeping one eye on the deer and screwing the pieces together. It ended up not mattering but sure didn't seem to at the time.

Thats a great buck Larry, congrats. Is Wesley mad at you?

No, he was tore up and super excited to see it. He knew how bad I wanted to kill a mainframe 10. Hopefully, we can fill his 2nd tag with a good one this week. He's passed 3 bucks so far this year which has been his choice.

Hmmm, killed my biggest buck to date this year as well. Thank you again ol boy for the help this year. Congratulations!!!!!
