BH209 Question

Does anyone shoot the BH 209 in 45 cal muzzleloader? If so how many grains,I shoot 200 gr SST's and can't find any load data for the 45 cal.

What make/model muzzleloader? What is your load using whatever you are using now? These guys are shooting 100 grains out of Omega and Pro Hunter rifles.

You should have no trouble whatsoever with BH209. When working up my loads for a Knight Wolverine and Rolling Block I started 10 grains under my 777 load and ended up at 100 grains in both rifles. One note, insure the projectile/sabot is compressed hard down on the charge. I also use CCI Magnum primers or Winchester standard 209's.
