Just a bunch of little ones, all released. One big boy on for a few minutes but came unbuttoned.
A lot of of fun though, 1st time in his new waders from Santa.

They are running 3 units at the dam at 9100cfs from all the rain.. It will be a while before I get to go fishing. I just hope they all dont wind up in Carthage.

These pics make my hands sweaty and my heart beat faster.

We pulled out on that bar a number of years ago to put a small jon boat on a trailer. The water was coming up, but we thought we had plenty of time. One of the more significant underestimations I've ever witnessed.

Long story short, we got to sit up there at the end of the road and watch a nice Jeep Cherokee float up off the bottom, turn upside down and sink.

It was pretty funny. It also wasn't mine.

Reminds me of a story at Happy hollow. I noticed a guy stuck in the gravel bar and the water was coming up fast(already to his hub caps) I had just pulled my boat up from fishing all day and my truck was parked at the top parking lot. I took off on a dead sprint up the hill jumped in my truck with boat trailer attached just before I started down the hill in my truck I jumped out and detached my trailer so I could back up easier.

People were yelling at me that my trailer had come unhooked (duh) because I droped it in the middle of the parking lot..lol

Well I finally ended up pulling him up the hill when the water was up to the bottom of my door on my toyota 4runner. I figured if I was in that situation I would want some help.

As a rule, it will be muddy below the Smith and a lot clearer above the Smith.

This is a great time to catch big trout trolling if you can keep from freezing.

with the river out of its banks and up in the woods, i would think that to be a dangerous outing.
