Whats everyone's opinion on the best WMA turkey hunt?
Oak Ridge, Yuchi, Meeman Forest....

I tried to get Yuchi last year with no luck..Do you hear a lot of birds at Yuchi?

i have never turkey hunted yuchi but have been covered up on the deer hunts.

i would suggest you look up the harvest data on the twra website before filling out your application you may be surprised by some of the numbers

when you have 125 hunters per hunt on chuck swan vs 10 hunters per hunt on yuchi, of course there will be more birds killed on chuck swan.

I dont think so stik. I think the areas that are shotgun/ml in deer season are the only areas open for turkey.

ok. that place is full of birds!! i have fished below melton hill and heard gobblers all over that first ridge.
