I have a Kawasaki Teryx. 2017 I think. I use it for farming, hunting and trail riding. Never a problem. I go where the RZRs go on the trails, just not quite as comfortably. I like the straight sides compared to the sportier models. I slide by things that hang others up. Can haul 600lbs or pull 1200. Really handy storage areas behind the seats. Not pure utility nor sport, but can do both well. The seats are far more comfortable than those in a Ranger or Mule type UTV. Perfect hunting sxs in my opinion. You're close and welcome to try it out on my farm.

I had a Honda Pioneer 700 and if I was buying another utility type would get another one if not the 1000. My wife wanted us to have one more for play so I sold it to my nephew and bought a Honda Talon. It's a sport model and tons of fun but not for hunting. Best thing about the Honda is they're gear driven and no belts to slip.

Bought me a can am last week. Maybe we can get together on a ride sometime. Sorry OP, not trying to derail

These days several of the big names are neck and neck (for the most part) I think it comes down to personal preference as much as anything

It's a 2017 maverick 1000r. More for leisure than hunting/working

I have a couple 4 wheelers that does that kind of stuff
I have the multi choice Commander bet the Maverick will fly . This one does pretty good only an 800 though .

Sharp! Honestly when I test drove it I was underwhelmed. It was quick but but it topped out at 58. However I felt like it needed a new belt and a clutch kit for the bigger tires. Stock tires was 27" on this machine and now it has 30".
This work is almost complete and I think it will wake up a beast!

Sweet looking ride. They are too much for me . I need a stabilizer on mine hard to drive it wide open but I've been up to 50 with more petal just to unstable. Only thing I really don't like on mine is the centrifugal drive . Just got to get used to it .

Does yours come with both keys? Sounds like you can leave the performance key at home 🤣

Im looking at buying one myself. I was about to buy a Ranger when the price jumped several thousand dollars at check out above the advertised price. Im buying a different brand i just haven't decided which one yet.

Kubota RTV-XG850, a crossover from pure working models (read slow) and the pure recreational high powered go-fast models. Excellent traction and driveability, tops out at about 41-42 on the roads, that's the governed speed; have no idea what actual top speed is. Haven't heard of hack to delete it yet.

Buddy of mine bought a talon about a year and a half ago and recently sold it for 3,000 more than he paid for it.
I'm going to sale this one and get a 2-seater. When we bought it we thought the boys would go but they're always doing their own thing so it's a waste. That said it is nice to have the back seat to put a bag of extras in case you need it.

Bought a Ranger 570 last year with power steering. Perfect for around the house projects and hunting. Wanted to keep it small for tight spots. Like havin a tiny truck in the woods. Find a new use for it every week. Can't believe I waited so long to buy one

That's the only thing I had against them was being slow but they are a tank. Sweet looking ride brother.

It's great if you have a place that has roads to accommodate them . Heck I got my two seater stuck between two trees !

One farm I hunt we have a Ranger 800 or 900. I can't remember. It does a good job for hunting has plenty power, and is plenty fast. But it's loud. May just need a muffler. I don't know.

One of my hunting buddies had a John Deere SxS in camo. I liked it pretty well. It did everything we needed it to.

A guy in my deer club has a Honda Pioneer. It is an incredible machine. I can't think of any negatives except the price. If I was buying a SxS, it would be a Pioneer.

Steel wool/scouring pads (not Brillo or ones with cleaner in em) shoved into the tailpipe. Be amazed at what that lil bit of baffling will do.
