I redid mine with carpet a few years back but when I do it next, it will be the vinyl type flooring

Seagrass boat flooring is sharp for pontoons.
When we built our boat the only option at the time was carpet so I told them to not even put the snap rivets in the floor. Had a company in Lebanon (TN Boat Customs) install an EVA foam like seadek and really like it so far. Another option is sea grass. Supposed to be easy to clean.
LVP or LVT--Vinyl planks or tiles is the way to go, waterproof & nearly indestructible.
Just don't glue them down, you'll destroy the subfloor when it's time to remove it.

Hydro turf. I love mine
my g3 has a hydroturf and i like so much better than carpet. carpet just seems to be a bad idea for a boat
does that hydro turf get hot in full sun?
Dont seem to but i always have on fishing shoes. Always!

Yeah if you don't get there early you can't ski. We are normally there around 9:00 and my wife can get her fix in and then we anchor down back in a cove and relax.
