Can't go wrong with that gun. A lot of people want a 3.5 for duck and turkey. If you are happy with a 3 inch and want the wood. It would be a good one for you.

I have the 20 gauge montefeltro. I love it when I get to shoot it. Wife and boys have taken it over. No idea about the 12 tho

I bought a 20ga last year and have set it up for turkey hunting. I think I'll like it. Patterns great with Apex Ninja and a Trulock 580P choke. I also have an original SBE and it has been a great gun. I only know 1 person that bought a Benelli and wasn't happy with it and it was an SBEII that has cycling problems with 3 1/2" shells and it shoots high like some do.

No idea for sure, but a gunsmith told me the receiver was too thin to drill and tap for a picatinny rail. That makes it a no go for a turkey gun for me.
