Anybody have any input on? Wanting a new shotgun and keeps catching my eye. Have never laid hands on one though. Any other suggestions around same price point ?

Benelli makes a great shotgun. I shoot a Super Black Eagle. What will be your main use of the shotgun?

Turkey hunting, occasional duck hunting. Really wanting to add a nice wood stock to the fleet.

Can't go wrong with that gun. A lot of people want a 3.5 for duck and turkey. If you are happy with a 3 inch and want the wood. It would be a good one for you.

I bought a 20ga last year and have set it up for turkey hunting. I think I'll like it. Patterns great with Apex Ninja and a Trulock 580P choke. I also have an original SBE and it has been a great gun. I only know 1 person that bought a Benelli and wasn't happy with it and it was an SBEII that has cycling problems with 3 1/2" shells and it shoots high like some do.

No idea for sure, but a gunsmith told me the receiver was too thin to drill and tap for a picatinny rail. That makes it a no go for a turkey gun for me.
