Back in 1999 when I bought the house we live in now I was looking it over and someone left the parts of a waterbed in the attic.

My buddy, that is missing duck hunting tomorrow for a deer hunt in Illinois, was big into duck hunting at the time.
I told him I bet the side board things would make great seats for a duck blind.

He never came and got them.

Fast forward a bunch of years.

Man and I were getting stuff together and I told him I was going to build some seats today for the shooting holes.
Then it hit me that they were still up there.

We got them down and they are very comfortable, much better than straight wood anyway.
All I gotta do is cut some boards to make the "legs" and we will have two benches about 7 feet long. :D

Thought that was a pretty good idea.

I get ridden all the time about stashing stuff away for something later.... the Mrs. says I'm a hoarder.... I call it being resourceful.

Y'all have a great time tomorrow morning and take some pics to share with everyone else!! Make a day of it if you can stand it that long, unless you limit out first.

I used to know a guy who really and truly used a Lazy-Boy recliner.

Waterbed frame would be good because they are finished-not gonna get a rear end full of splinters. I bet you could get some foam rubber and cover it and have some comfy seats.
