Before I get started, I have to say again what a disappointment Pacific Tool and Guage is. I have been waiting for literally months to get my bottom metal. I gave up on them and went with another company and got my metal in YESTERDAY!!! They said it would be here next week.

Here are the parts to my newest project. Stainless left handed Winchester Model 70 chambered in 270 Win. The rifle has never been fired so I'm going to see how well it shoots before I decide to go with a custom tube. It's topped off with a Zeiss Conquest 2.5-8x32 sitting in Talley Lightweight mounts. The stock is a McMillan Edge. I'm surprised how super light weight this stock is. Bottom Metal is from Midwest Gun Works. The stock is inletted for a FW barrel. I'm going to have to work on the barrel channel just a little to get this Sporter weight barrel to fit.

 but he bolt is on the wrong side :D

BTW-

I have to ask,

Whats the deal on changeing the bottom metal?

Who have likely already said but either I missed it or forgot one.

I needed a 2 piece bottom metal for this stock instead of the newer 1 piece version.
