Beetle traps?

Anyone use em?Any tips?Gonna put a few out today,far from my trees.

I havent used them because I havent had any problems but I know those who do use them. Like you said, they put them away from their trees. They have some sort of pheremone that attracts the beetles.

You will literally catch 1000's of them. Your will also attract them to the area. If you can put them in your neighbors yard.

Didnt see any on my trees,but saw em eating the clover,stomped on them, put out 2 bags

They work.....
also you can spray with Malathion, or neem and do a double dose of prevention and kill them in a dual system.
I highly recommend it!

it will draw beetles from miles around and cause more harm than good in my experience.

Sorta like the propane mosquito killers, draws every mosquito in the neighborhood. Best place to put it is the corner of your yard next to the neighbors patio! lol

Seems these beetle traps may very well cause more problem than they solve.

Nearly everyone I know who has used them has reported an increase in beetles while using, fewer beetles after they stopped using. Go figure.

If it's anything like the Fly Motel I bought last summer it will work like the dickens. I had so many flies in that thing it smelled like a dead body, then I got to thinking. Am I killing the flies around me, or attracting them from everywhere else?
